It’s amazing what kids will do to skip church! Watch this ‘7 Year Old Steals Car’ Video below. It’s really pretty amazing!

It all started because a young boy didn’t want to go to church. So instead of playing sick like most of us did when we were young, he decided to steal the family car resulting in a 40 mph car chase that ended when the kid returned the car to his parents’ driveway and hid inside his house! The result? An incredible ‘7 YO Steals Car’ Video recorded by the police car dash cam.

Here’s how it all went down:

A police dispatcher received a phone call on a Sunday morning in Plain City, Utah from a concerned citizen who reported seeing a young kid driving recklessly through a stop sign and very nearly hitting another vehicle!

Well, of course, the police sprang into action and gave chase, clocked the 7-year-old boy’s speed at 40 mph. They caught up with him when he returned his dad’s white Dodge Intrepid to his parents driveway and ran inside the home to hide.

A Weber County Sheriff’s Captain, Clint Anderson, said:

“A deputy pulled into the intersection and stopped to block the intersection, turning on his lights. Instead of stopping the car, this white Intrepid turned down another street and eventually drove home.”

Will the book be thrown at this kid? Nope. He will not be prosecuted or issued any kind of citation because he is considered too young. However his parents counseled by officers to hide the car keys to prevent another episode of ‘7 YO Steals Car Video’ and will review the 10 Commandments with their son, including ‘Thou Shalt Not Steal’!
