Twenty one years after the death of 270 people, Abdel Baset al-Megrahi, Lockerbie bomber, was released under what is being called compassionate grounds. The Lockerbie bomber was sent home to Libya to die; he is suffering from prostate cancer.

President Obama said that the decision to release Abdel Baset al-Megrahi was a mistake; family members of the 270 victims pleaded with the Scottish government not to release the man known as the Lockerbie bomber.
Obama had warned Libya not to receive Abdel Baset al-Megrahi as a hero, but giving us a peek into the mindset of those who live in that part of the world, thousands were on hand to greet al-Megrahi as he arrived from Scotland. Many carried pictures of the Lockerbie bomber, some wore t-shirts with Abdel Baset al-Megrahi’s picture on the front, others waved Libyan and Scottish flags in celebration.
One family member said:
“I think it’s appalling, disgusting and so sickening I can hardly find words to describe it,” said Susan Cohen of Cape May Court House, New Jersey, whose 20-year-old daughter, Theodora, died in the attack. “This isn’t about compassionate release. This is part of give-al-Qaddafi -what-he-wants-so-we-can-have-the-oil.”
Abdel Baset al-Megrahi had only served 8 years of his life sentence when he was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer, the Scottish government says his release is to demonstrate their compassion. Sorry, that doesn’t really pass the smell test; al-Megrahi showed no compassion when he blew an airliner out of the sky back in 1988 killing 270.
Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said at the White House press briefing:
“We continue to believe that Megrahi should serve out his sentence in Scotland,” Gibbs said. “On this day, we extend our deepest sympathies to the families who live every day with the loss of their loved ones.”
Abdel Baset al-Megrahi, Lockerbie bomber, was convicted in 2001 for taking part in the 1988 bombing of Pan-Am flight 103. All 259 people as well as 11 on the ground died in Lockerbie, Scotland.

So, forward thinking, compassionate Scotland decides that this swine follower of Mohammed(aka Satan) deserves compassion and frees this animal. The bastard kills 270 innocent people and he deserves compassion? He should rot in hell with the rest of his slimy, camel humping Islamofascists. The only thing he deserves is a slow, painful death from the disease which is wracking his sorry ass. When he finally croaks the world will be a much better place.
