Dennis Miller was on The O’Reilly Factor last night and had some comments on current events, as he usually does. His segment on that show is one of my favorites. The video is below.
In the Dennis Miller segment of the O’Reilly Factor last night, he commented on ACORN, Charlie Gibson and Kanye West. Hilarious and right on commentary as usual. I especially liked the part about Charlie Gibson’s claim to have no knowledge of the ACORN scandal that’s all over the internet, but not the main stream media. How interesting that this man who literally looked down his nose at Sarah Palin in a rather pathetic attempt to make her look stupid, doesn’t have a clue about what would be a HUGE scandal involving ACORN if only it weren’t a pet project of the left. Can you just imagine if George W. Bush was connected to and sending money to ACORN? That would be all over the news and people would be calling for his head and the heads of everyone connected with the group.
But this is Obama’s group and the millions of tax payer dollars that go to them is just quietly swept under the rug. Anyone questioning their methods is called a racist in an attempt to silence them and the corruption and criminal behavior is overlooked.
How dare we expect anything other than mediocrity from this President! How dare we have anything other than low expectations. He’s our first African-American President, after all, and therefore can’t be criticized. By the way, he actually IS African-American in the hyphenated sense of the word.
In all seriousness, I find it distressing that our first Black president is not someone we can admire and be proud of. His presidency has and will set back the progress our country has made in race relations over the past 200 years. An honorable man in that position would, indeed, be real progress and would be truly ‘post-racial’. This man is not that man. Unfortunately, the left is determined to lower expectations in what is nothing short of hard-core racism. They truly seem to think that expecting more from him is just too much pressure on him. Apparently, they don’t expect much from a Black man and can’t see beyond his skin color to the person that he is.
I really do hate that on so many levels.
Here’s the video of Dennis Miller on O’Reilly Factor on September 15, 2009. Enjoy.

I really enjoy Miller’s take on things…and I agree with every word of your article. The One needs to pull up his big boy britches and say enough is enough….
