MSNBC’s Ed Schultz Compares Republicans Not Supporting the Olympics to Jane Fonda’s Hanoi Treason
Just when you think the main stream media in the United States couldn’t get any crazier, it does.
Today the world came crashing in around the ears of Obama supporters when they discovered that he is, in fact, only human. He left our Soldiers in Afghanistan waiting, dying and being injured while he and his entourage jetted off to Copenhagen to make a bid for Chicago to be the site of the 2016 Olympic games. One would ordinarily think that Chicago getting the games would be a long-shot. But with Obama flying there to smile and charm the Olympic committee, his followers thought it was a sure bet.
One can only wonder what the result would have been for the nation should he have succeeded in his quest. As it is, we are left just to wonder. We won’t have to watch our taxes increased to pay for the pork the president would have sent to his home town.
Chicago was the FIRST to be eliminated in the voting process. The Obama not only lost. He lost BIG. His followers couldn’t believe it. They were dismayed and in disbelief at first. Then their disbelief turned to anger and assigning blame. Yes. Assigning blame. These people actually see this as a personal affront to their Dear Leader and themselves and have to find someone to blame.
Unbelievably, some have found a way to blame Bush (see Jan Schakowsky at the end of the video below) while others blame anyone who doesn’t support Barack and Michelle’s Dog and Pony Show.
In one of the more comedic cases of the blame game is MSNBC’s Ed Schultz who compares Republicans not supporting the Olympics to Jane Fonda’s Hanoi treason. No, comedic isn’t the right word. Sad. Ridiculous. Horrible. Incredible. I think mostly pathetic fits this. Can there be any doubt that the left just doesn’t understand the concept of loyalty to country, honor, integrity? Can it be that they actually don’t understand what treason really is?
Do they seriously think that Chicago not getting the Olympics equates to Jane Fonda (aka Hanoi Jane) doing a photo op for the Vietcong, straddling a cannon and acting like she’s shooting down American pilots? They really, actually make that comparison. I’m still stunned that it would even cross someone’s mind, but here it is in this video. Watch it for yourselves.

@Ohioliberal…You aren’t too bright are you? Old Ed’s comments are likely the result of too many illegal substances in the 60’s and he has no valid recollection of Hanoi Jane’s actions. There is NO comparison. Had she not been a cute, blond celebrity she would have been charged with treason.
Go study a tiny bit of history and get a grip, will ya?
