Bill and Hillary Clinton are expected to close on an estate in the Bedford Hills, a town in Westchester, New York, ‘within weeks’. The property is called Clover Hill Farm. Sounds idyllic! It is a rustic mansion on 20 acres. It is $10.9 million, includes five bedrooms and six and two half bathrooms. There are fireplaces in both the chef’s kitchen and a wood-paneled library. The estate was built 10 years ago and is a rustic style with exposed wood beams.

The current owner of the estate is Paul Wallace who founded the Manhattan real-estate firm Broadstone Group. He had to file bankruptcy in May 2010.

The house is only 7,000 square feet. Small compared to John Edwards’ estate in North Carolina!

Bedford Hills is also home to Richard Gere, Martha Stewart and Glenn Close. So they’ll all be neighbors now.

The purchase of the home will be close to the Chelsea Clinton wedding. I have no idea if that’s coincidence or if the former President and First Lady and current Secretary of State will have their staffs very busy preparing for post-nuptial parties at their new digs.

You have to love the progressives. They are all about helping the poor and sharing the wealth. As long as its not THEIR wealth they are redistributing, I guess.

Here are some photos of the Clintons potential $10 million mansion. It doesn’t look all that ‘rustic’ to me!
