Even though he is the President-elect, Barack Obama has remained silent on the issue of government bailouts. He has particularly not had much to say about the auto industry bailout. Read about it below and see a photo and video.

As we all know, Barack Obama generally has voted the non-committal ‘present’ for votes he has had to make in the positions in the Illinois and the United States Senates. We had thought that as President, he would not be able to vote ‘present’ as being President does require one to make a decision periodically, even if the decision is controversial.

Now various American industries going to the government with their hats in their hands asking for tax payer money to bail them out of their financial troubles. You probably remember that during the presidential campaign, when financial institutions threatened to collapse without a bailout from the government, McCain went to his job as a Senator and got right in the middle of the mess. Obama avoided it like the plague and only went to Washington when President Bush called him personally and told him that he really needed to participate in the talks.

In other words, McCain got his hands dirty and Obama stayed far away from anything that might be perceived by voters as controversial.

Now the auto industry is front and center. The democrats, who have been in charge of all this for the past two years, are trying to force through a bail out for the auto industry. The Republicans, many of the more centrist democrats and the President, are against the bailout on the grounds that its not fair to expect the tax payer to ‘reward’ an industry that has used bad business practices that have lead to their own downfall.

The media is using words like Obama is ‘laying low’. In fact, he’s sent out a couple of his top advisers to say things like they are encouraging the auto industry to come up with environmental friendly cars. The democrats are saying that Obama needs to DO something. At least take a stance! They are saying he needs to step up to the plate and take some kind of action as the President-elect! They say it can’t wait until January 20th.

Obama has spoken about the issue only three times, in the three interviews he’s had since his election. Each time his statements were vague in the extreme, non committal and avoiding controversy and being tied down to a stance on the subject at all cost.

He generally says something like that he’s been really busy and sends out Rahm Emanuel again to say something.

As the democrats have put more heat on him to address the subject, he finally made his most direct and meaty statement to date. He said that he was really busy and all, but that everybody needs to keep discussing the issue and see if they can’t come up with some kind of solution to the problem.

Leadership doesn’t seem to be his strong suit. At least when it comes to taking political risks by actually stating a position on something.

This should be a very interesting four years. I hope its not TOO interesting.

al-Qaeda Message to Obama

al-Qaeda is not showing the love for Barack Obama. Its pretty disappointing seeing as how the Obama administration would bring about world peace. So far, it seems that world peace might be slightly out of his grasp for the moment anyway. He might have to work a little harder at it than merely being elected.

The left is so funny in how they think the rest of the world looks at things the same way Americans do. Like they were shocked when Venezuelan President and Petty Dictator Hugo Chavez called Obama ‘that black guy’ and the President of Italy referred to him jokingly as having a tan. The left thinks the rest of the world has the same politically correct sickness that Americans are afflicted with. But they aren’t. In fact, I would venture to guess that they don’t get the whole American guilt thing at all.

So now we have al-Qaeda taking their turn to put Obama to the test. Ayman Zawahiri is the heir apparent to the al-Qaeda organization should it ever be confirmed that Osama bin Laden is actually dead. He’s the only al-Qaeda person we’ve heard from in a while. Now he has come out and called Barack Obama a ‘House Negro’ or ‘House Slave’, depending on the transcription.

You can read the full transcript here. It basically translates to say, ‘I slap you across your face with my glove you infidel cur! Ha! Find me if you can! hahahahahahaha’

Of course, the purpose of the al-Qaeda challenge to Obama was undoubtedly as much for the Jihadists followers of al-Qaeda than for Obama. He was obviously letting his followers know that the ‘Great Satan’ is STILL the ‘Great Satan’. It also informs them that Obama winning the war is proof that Americans are surrendering in Iraq and al-Qaeda has won that front in the war.

Of course, this could be a good thing. It might be that the left will finally understand that we ARE at war! At least, they’ll be awfully mad that someone insulted their demagogue. You know what happens on the internet when someone isn’t drinking Obama’s koolaid - can you imagine what they will do about THIS!?!

The 60 million dollar question is how will Obama handle all this challenge. Not just this one, but the ones coming from all corners of the earth. After all, he did promise to understand and appreciate our enemies more so they’d be less angry with us bringing about peace on earth. Here’s what he said shortly after we were attacked by misunderstood, disenchanted, hopeless, angry young men who had been mistreated by the United States on 9/11/2001.

We must also engage, however, in the more difficult task of understanding the sources of such madness. The essence of this tragedy, it seems to me, derives from a fundamental absence of empathy on the part of the attackers: an inability to imagine, or connect with, the humanity and suffering of others. Such a failure of empathy, such numbness to the pain of a child or the desperation of a parent, is not innate; nor, history tells us, is it unique to a particular culture, religion, or ethnicity. It may find expression in a particular brand of violence, and may be channeled by particular demagogues or fanatics. Most often, though, it grows out of a climate of poverty and ignorance, helplessness and despair.

We will have to make sure, despite our rage, that any U.S. military action takes into account the lives of innocent civilians abroad. We will have to be unwavering in opposing bigotry or discrimination directed against neighbors and friends of Middle Eastern descent. Finally, we will have to devote far more attention to the monumental task of raising the hopes and prospects of embittered children across the globe—children not just in the Middle East, but also in Africa, Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe and within our own shores.

See! If only we understood them better. But wait. Obama does! Then why do they hate him? Oh. I do worry about what will come from this inexperienced man becoming the most powerful man in the world. The last time we faced this kind of crisis of leadership was when John F. Kennedy was tested by Russia. But things happen so much faster now than they did back then. The problem is, will we have time to act. Even worse, will we have time for Barack Obama to think through every aspect of every permutation of every reaction and then discuss with his 300 foreign policy advisers before he does anything. We’ll all be ashes and dust by the time he talks it out.

Barack Obama’s transitional team has announced that they will work to bring Iran into the Afghanistan front of the Global War on Terrorism. Unbelievable. Read about it below.

Ahmadinejad

The Obama team say they are looking at a ‘regional’ solution to the war in Afghanistan. Of course, the ‘war’ in Afghanistan is a front in the larger Global War on Terrorism, but I’m not at all sure that the Obama people understand that.

There are a couple of clues in this administrations statements that give us a clue about what we are in for during the next couple of years. Here’s some of the clues:

• They want to initiate talks between “reconcilable” members of the Taliban and Hamid Karzai, the elected representative of the Afghan government. What I wonder is how they will fit in the ‘talks’ with the Taliban. Would that be before or after they finish their daily executions of villagers who don’t help the kill American Soldiers?
• They are slamming the Bush administration for allowing ‘ideological constraints’ and an ‘unrealistic’ goal of building a democracy in Afghanistan from dealing with the war effectively. Would that be the ‘ideological constraint’ of having a problem with women being hung and/or shot in the back of the head if the wind blows their burka up over their ankles? I’m just wondering.
• Obama’s people believe they can REASON with the Afghan people to reject the islamic extremism. I guess he forgot that if they reject them they get killed, their families get killed and their neighbors get killed. They might be willing to reject islamic extremism the very minute they know an American Marine will stand guard over them.
• They are putting the focus on ‘catching’ Osama bin Laden. He has become pretty much irrelevant and powerless, but having the President of the United States uttering his name all the time and committing the LIVES of U.S. Soldiers to find him will give him renewed clout and power in the islamic jihadist world.

Okay. Are you sitting down? I’m asking because here’s the big one.

• Obama’s people want to bring in regional help in the war. They are looking to Iran for HELP in the war! They say they will work with Iran to bring peace to the area. They say we have a common goal with Iran which is to make the Sunnis disappear from the area.

I have a news flash for Obama’s people. Iran is already involved in the war. If you think they are sitting behind their borders wringing their hands then you are even more naive than previously proven.

An empowered Iran is a nightmare for us all. If Obama and his people actually listen to what Iranian President Ahmadinejad keeps telling us it might help. Obama says he wants better communication with Iran. Then I say PLEASE listen to them. They want to kill us. That’s what he says and what he appears to be making every effort to do.

People say they voted for Obama because they were bored with Bush. Well. We might just get what everyone wanted. We might just have more excitement than we can stand here shortly.

For that, I hope and pray that God will continue to look favorably on us in spite of our misguided, dangerous and self centered choices.

Diatha Harris is a fifth grade school teacher in Cumberland Country, North Carolina. She was caught on tape encouraging students to support Barack Obama over John McCain for President.

The video was shot as part of a documentary by a Swedish television crew. It has been making the rounds on the internet and inspired outrage and anger by many who have watched it. One little girl tells the teacher that the reason she is for John McCain is that her parents are. The teacher tells her that McCain will keep our troops in Iraq for 100 years and since that little girls father is a Soldier that he will be away in Iraq for 100 years.

The classroom discussion begins with Harris asking the class who they support for president. When two students say McCain, she responds with “Oh Lord” and “Oh Jesus.”

She asks them why they are you pulling for McCain or Obama. One student says she supports Obama because “he is making good changes” like “not having a fight between Iraq, and having soldiers killed.”

“So in other words,” Harris says, “Barack is going to end that war in Iraq.”

One girls says she supports McCain. When asked why, she tells her teacher “I think it’s because of my parents are going for him, too.’’

Harris points out that the girl’s father is in the military, then says to the class that Iraq is a “senseless war.”

“And by the way,” Harris tells the girl, “the person that you’re picking for president said that our troops could stay in Iraq for another hundred years if they need to. So that means that your daddy could stay in the military for another hundred years.”

The girl appears to be embarrassed and doesn’t respond.

Diatha Harris claims that the video is edited to make her look bad. Meanwhile, the school principle and superintendent are looking into the incident.

There are a couple of major problems we have in this country right now. One is that our educational system seems to be heavily influenced by far left political views. The other is that the media evidentially leans heavily to the left. Both of these areas have enormous influence on the thinking and views of the public.

If children are educated by teachers who use subtle brainwashing techniques to influence their thinking, embarrass them when they have opposing views, tell them their parents will be away for 100 years if they have one view or the other, then our students will gradually move towards the left in spite of the influence of their parents. Then to make matters worse, the main stream media pumps 24/7 slanted coverage into our homes that has given up even the facade of unbiased coverage.

How do we fix this problem when we simply watch the the movement to the hard left with anger but no action? We continue to tune in to the far left news agencies and give them credibility regardless of our outrage at their biased reporting.

When any group has control of the schools and the news, then they have control of the people. Our apathy and taking our rights and privileges for granted have put us in a situation in which many of those rights and privileges are being taken away right from under our eyes.

Within hours of Barack Obama’s Presidential acceptance speech, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev threw down a gauntlet. Read about it and see a video below.

It hasn’t taken long for the world powers to start positioning themselves to put the new U.S. President to the test. Approximately six hours after Barack Obama finished his acceptance speech given to the throngs gathered at Grant Park in Chicago, Russian President Dmitry Medvedeve made sure he was the first to challenge Obama.

It seems only fitting that it should come from the Russians. After all, the United States and Russia have been each other’s favorite enemies for many, many years now. We got a little distracted after the Berlin Wall came down and there was a truss in the Cold War. Then there’s been the whole Radical Jihadi threat that caught our attention.

While we’ve been keeping an eye on the Jihadis, Russia has been rebuilding her strength. She tested it out this summer by trying to overrun Georgia. That move would have given Russia control of the oil pipelines coming out of Iran and going into Western Europe. The European leaders certainly knew what was at stake, even though the public stayed blissfully ignorant of the danger we were all in. The bloodbath in Georgia continued until George W. Bush sent three U.S. Naval ships to the Caspian sea with ‘humanitarian aid’ for the people of Georgia. We all know that it doesn’t take American war ships to deliver humanitarian aid. It does take American war ships to send a message to Russia though.

Russia pulled back and has been gripping about it every since. Western Europe sighed a sigh of relief and the public never quite realized what happened. And only the leaders of Western Europe, Georgia, Poland and the Ukraine knew enough to thank George W. Bush for saving them.

The Russian President and his Prime Minister and former President, Vladimir Putin, had endorsed the election of Barack Obama. Now that he’s been elected they are laying down the law. In his State of the Nation address on Wednesday, Medvedev make it clear that Moscow would not alter its hard-line rhetoric towards Obama’s administration. He called the U.S. foreign policy selfish and ominously announced that Moscow will set up a new missile base on their border with Poland.

Medvedev has also pledged to electronically jam the U.S. missile shield. In addition, Moscow has tossed plans to stand down three missile regiments. He also says that he will deploy short range missiles in Russia’s Baltic Sea territory. This move … this chess game … puts Russian missiles between two NATO members, Poland and Lithuania.

Of course, they blame all these moves on the United States and claim they are only putting their missiles in strategically critical areas in case the U.S. continues to build a missile defense system in Poland. In case you aren’t aware, the missile defense system in Poland was put into place after Russia invaded Georgia and then threatened the Ukraine and Poland. Western European leaders are fully aware that would give Russia complete control of the oil and gas supplies into Western Europe. They asked for our help and we gave it. Now Russia is trying to make that into a public relations excuse for them to go on the offensive.

And finally, in a move that is worthy of the best of the KGB, Medvedev said that Obama could stop all of this very simply. All he has to do is bow down before them.

“I would like to stress we have no problems with the American people. We don’t have innate anti-Americanism and we hope that our partners, the new US administration, will make a choice in favour of fully-fledged relations with Russia,” Mr Medvedev said.

So now we get to see how Obama responds. Will he give Russia the upper hand or tell them Americans bow before no one and force them to back off of taking power over Western Europe.

I hope Obama has some courage.

You might think that the idea of Obama Supporters being depressed is a little absurd considering the high they must surely be on at this point in time. However, as the following news video shows, there’s a growing lethargy in the ranks of Obama’s former supporters.

The problem seems to be that after two years of living the life of worshiping the Obamessiah and spending every waking moment obnoxiously forcing yourself on unsuspecting everyday citizens they now find themselves at a lose as to what to do.

What to do? Really … what to do? The race is won. The end has come. Their guy is heading to the White House so they won’t have Bush to badmouth anymore. Can they bad mouth Obama … the man they worshiped, followed and sacrificed two years of their youth to get elected? I think that will be hard. Its hard to rail against the man when you ARE the man.

Of course, from my point of view, they would have been better off spending two years of their youth serving the country in a more productive manner … serving the country in the Global War on Terrorism. But that’s just me.

It looks like John the Goat has to die! I’m so sad for the goat. Obama’s Kenyan family is celebrating his ascension with celebratory slaughtering of goats, chickens and bulls. I put a photo of John the Goat below in memoriam.

I heard from some shirt tail relatives in Germany today who tell me that Obama has already been declared the winner by the only American media they get there. Therefore, I think its a safe bet that the American news in Kenya is also declaring him the winner. And yet, the polls on the east coast haven’t even closed. Be that as it may, since its several hours later in Kenya than it is here right now, I’m assuming the animal sacrifice is going on even as I type this.

There has been a big Kenya for Obama campaign going on throughout this election. There was a mock election there and surprisingly (NOT!) Obama won the Kenyan vote. Which leaves me to wonder, if Obama does win this election, will we be taking Kenya as a territory or will it be the 59th state? Fifty-nine counting the 58 Obama says we already have.

Sarah Palin hammers Barack Obama on his statements from last January in which he said he would bankrupt the coal industry and energy prices would skyrocket. Read about it below and see the video.

As you have probably heard, Presidential Candidate Barack Obama did an interview with the San Francisco Chronicles last January saying that he would bankrupt the coal industry with raising the regulations on the industry to the point that they would be unable to stay afloat.

He said that the use of coal is off the table.

Coal fuels about 50% of American energy. The industry employees thousands upon thousands of Americans. Bankrupting that industry will put Americans out of work and will send energy prices sky high.

In fact, Barack Obama himself stated that under his administration, energy prices would skyrocket.

The San Francisco Chronicles never published that part of his interview, but you can read it online now that its become public.

Jesse Jackson has done it again. He’s made more comments that are causing problems for the Obama campaign. Read about it below and see a video of his previous statements.

I can’t quite figure out if Jesse Jackson is working for or against Barack Obama’s campaign. From his statements behind the scenes on Fox News a month or so ago (see video below), one has to assume that he’s not really excited at the prospect of Obama becoming President. On the other hand, he publicly states that he is.

Or, he’s losing it and getting careless about what he says and who hears what he says.

Jackson’s latest faux pas has to do with statements he made to the World Policy Forum in France last week. The Chicago civil rights activist is reported to have stated that:

“Zionists who have controlled American policy for decades” would lose some of their influence with Obama in the White House, and that “decades of putting Israel’s interests first” would come to a close.

Oh dear.

The Obama campaign quickly jumped in to condemn the comments and distance themselves from anything that might in the least risk them getting the Jewish vote. In fact, there is a Jewish case against Obama. But I’m sure they didn’t want Jackson saying that out loud.

If only Obama would be as concerned about distancing himself from the other questionable associations he’s had throughout his adult life. Bill Ayers, Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakhan come to mind.

Remember the creepy Obama Children’s Chorus? Well, now we have the Obama Junior Fraternity Regiment. I’m telling you, this stuff is getting creepier and creepier.

Its great that these kids feel inspired and aspire to greater things for their lives. Its great that they chant about taking personal responsibility. Its great that they are working on personal discipline. The creepy part is the worshipful rhetoric about Obama. He is the Alpha and Omega? Apparently, these kids are being taught that. I was taught that God was the Alpha and Omega … the beginning and the end.

He truly IS the Obamessiah!

Urban middle school students uniquely display their understanding of the democratic presidential candidate, Barack Obama’s health care reform plan. The chant “omega, alpha” symbolizes the end of the old way of thinking, and the newness in their ideas and thoughts. Barack Obama has invoked thought even in the minds of the youth.

The Obama campaign has taken the cult of personality to levels I’ve never seen before. The following video is evidence of a very disturbing trend that has crept up on us. The indoctrination of children into the Obama Cult.

How frightening is that? The video is called ‘Sing for Change’. Children singing praise to a human being who is running for President. Its smacks of Stalin and Hitler. It smells like the worship of North Korea’s Dear Leader. This is a mentality in which politics takes the place of religion in the lives of the people and rules their every day lives completely.

When Barack Obama said that Middle American’s cling to our religion and guns out of despair, I didn’t realize he meant to replace those things with worship of him.

I sincerely hope that we aren’t watching America sink into communism. It seems to be sneaking up behind us in the form of a charismatic leader who is careful not to reveal his true intentions but to implement ‘change’ a little at a time. In that way, things are ‘changed’ before we really know when and how it happened.

Thanks, but no thanks.
