Paul vs Clinton

Peter Paul
Peter Paul

Peter Paul is a dot com millionaire among a number of other things who has been embroiled in a civil lawsuit against former President Bill Clinton for years. He has had one delay after the other in his law suit in which he accuses the former President of defrauding him into helping Hillary Clinton obtain more than $1.2 million for her 2000 Senate campaign. He was her largest contributer at the time. When it was exposed that he was a convicted felon, Hillary Clinton claimed she didn’t know him.

The case was heard last Friday, April 25th, in the chambers of Judge Aurelio Munoz in Los Angeles Superior Court. The green light has been given to begin discovery and depositions in the case of Paul v Clinton, but Hillary will not be required to testify in sworn deposition until after the November elections.

Peter Paul created a video of his case against the Clintons entitled Hillary Exposed: The Case of Paul v. Clinton. The trailer for the video is included below in two parts.

The Pig Book is Out and Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are Top Porkers

Hillary ClintonYou win some, you lose some. In this case, Hillary Clinton is at the top of the ticket. According to the Pig Book she has beat out her competition for taking home the most pork.

Meanwhile Barack Obama, a brand spanking new Senator, gets second place. That’s a lot of pork for such a new Senator. It has to take a certain amount of arrogance nerve for a first term Senator to sneak that many pet projects into legislation. Of course, it helps when you understand that the democratic mindset is that any money you earn is theirs to take in taxes and spend as they see fit.

The nonpartisan taxpayer watchdog group Citizens Against Government Waste is out with its newest Pig Book, an overwhelming detailing of all 11,610 pork barrel projects inserted in the current fiscal year’s appropriations bills by individual members of Congress.

These semi-secret spending measures cost taxpayers an extra $17.2 billion this fiscal year alone. This is the first year legislators have had to attach their names to these measures

That’s B for billion dollar$. In extra spending. That typically didn’t go through the usual legislative committee screening. A huge increase over the previous year.

And guess which one of the surviving presidential candidates likes pork the most? And the least?

According to the Pig Book (”The Book Washington Does Not Want You to Read”), New York Sen. Hillary Clinton is our new grand national oinker among presidential contenders for most pork barrel spending. She inserted a whopping 281 individual spending projects into bills for the benefit of New York interests at the cost of taxpayers everywhere.

That totals $296.2 million.

Aren’t those the people complaining about how much the war is costing?? Why yes, I think they are.

Don’t worry, they’ll just raise our taxes to cover the cost of everything they are planning … plus their pet projects.

There is one Senator who has not taken a single penny … NOT ONE RED CENT … of our tax dollars for personal projects otherwise known as pork. You guessed it, Senator John McCain.

The new national hero, on the other hand, for not inserting one penny of pork barrel spending is the Republican Party’s presumptive nominee, Sen. John McCain of Arizona. As a longtime staunch opponent of such earmarks, McCain may be expected to raise the subject of such special spending if Clinton becomes his Democratic opponent in the fall’s general election.

He may also bring it up if his opponent is Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, who may be a freshman senator but still isn’t shy about inserting special earmarks into legislation cataloged by the taxpayer group’s annual report. He accounted for 53 special earmarks, totaling almost $97.4 million.

Interestingly, Ron Paul got a little pork himself even though he campaigned against it.

Rep. Ron Paul of Texas, who still technically is in the GOP race, has campaigned against large government seeping into the lives of American citizens. However, according to the Pig Book, that didn’t keep him from proposing eight pork-spending bills totaling $22 million, including nearly $4 million to alter a Galveston bridge.

Hillary’s Ireland Claims Debunked

According to a principle player, Lord Trimble of Lisnagarvey, Hillary’s claim is a “wee bit silly” and that; “I don’t know there was much she did apart from accompanying Bill [Clinton] going around.”

Gloria Steinem Makes Fun of John McCain and Gets Herself in the News Again

Gloria SteinemIt has to be hard to be an aging activist whose message is no longer relevant. Gloria Steinem was in the news all the time in the 1960s and 1970s when she was on the front lines of the feminist movement, which I’ve often said didn’t do us women any favors. She was burning her bras and demeaning men and everything male. Masculine was out and feminine was in. Men would be required to become more sensitive and accommodating to women …. until women didn’t like them anymore.

Gloria Steinem made her fortune declaring that the feminine was a more evolved life form than the masculine. And then she disappeared into a footnote and has not been heard from in years.

Now, she has found her voice again as a surrogate of Hillary Clinton. She has found a high profile masculine male that she can attempt to emasculate publicly and get lots and lots of publicity for it. She has chosen to attempt to throw a punch at John McCain by devaluing one of the most masculine of activities, being a man at war.

Steinem raised McCain’s Vietnam imprisonment as she sought to highlight an alleged gender-based media bias against Clinton.

“Suppose John McCain had been Joan McCain and Joan McCain had got captured, shot down and been a POW for eight years. [The media would ask], ‘What did you do wrong to get captured? What terrible things did you do while you were there as a captive for eight years?’” Steinem said, to laughter from the audience.

McCain was, in fact, a prisoner of war for around five and a half years, during which time he was tortured repeatedly. Referring to his time in captivity, Steinem said with bewilderment, “I mean, hello? This is supposed to be a qualification to be president? I don’t think so.”

John McCainShe goes on to spout off about how all of our presidents have been male and therefore inferior. She’d now very much like all men in the country to please surgically castrate themselves.

So the question comes to mind …. what were Hillary Clinton, Gloria Steinem and John McCain doing for their country in the 1960s. I was thinking about just that when I saw an article on DIGG that answered just that question.

From This Pilgrim’s Progress … What Gloria was doing in 1968

By 1968 Steinem’s work had become more overtly political. She began writing a column, “The City Politic,” for New York magazine. Her involvement in feminism intensified in 1968 when she attended a meeting of a radical feminist group, the Redstockings. Proud of her feminist roots—her paternal grandmother had served as president of the Ohio Women’s Suffrage Association from 1908 to 1911—Steinem founded the National Women’s Political Caucus in July 1971 with Betty Friedan, Bella Abzug, and Shirley Chisholm. That same year she began exploring the possibility of a new magazine for women, one that treated contemporary issues from a feminist perspective. The result was Ms. magazine, which first appeared as an insert in the December 1971 issue of New York.

Hillary RodhamWhat Hillary was doing in 1968 …

“In September 1968, Hillary Diane Rodham, role model and student government president, was addressing Wellesley College freshmen girls — back when they were still called `girls’ — about methods of protest. It was a hot topic in that overheated year of what she termed `confrontation politics from Chicago to Czechoslovakia.’

As the nation boiled over Vietnam, civil rights and the slayings of two charismatic leaders, Ms. Rodham was completing a sweeping intellectual, political and stylistic shift. She came to Wellesley as an 18-year-old Republican, a copy of Barry Goldwater’s right-wing treatise, `The Conscience of a Conservative,’ on the shelf of her freshman dorm room. She would leave as an antiwar Democrat whose public rebuke of a Republican senator in a graduation speech won her notice in Life magazine as a voice for her generation.”

What John McCain was doing from 1967 until 1973? Languishing in a North Vietnamese prison.

Sorry Gloria and Hillary, but I think John McCain wins the Alpha Male contest.

Gennifer Flowers is Considering Supporting Hillary in 2008

Gennifer FlowersRemember Gennifer Flowers? She’s the woman that was one of the scandals that almost sidetracked Bill Clinton’s second bid for the presidency in 1992. She claimed she’d had a long term affair with President Clinton and had tapes and audio tapes that backed up her allegations.

Well, now she’s considering supporting Hillary Clinton for President in 2008.

Flowers told the Associated Press that she supports abortions rights and would like to see a woman in the White House. That would be Hillary by all accounts.

“I can’t help but want to support my own gender, and she’s as experienced as any of the others, except maybe Joe Biden,” Gennifer Flowers told the Associated Press.

Flowers told the AP she is still undecided, but she supports abortion rights and wants to see a woman in the White House. She did describe Sen. Joseph Biden (D-Del.), however, as “smart, sexy and experienced.”

Joe Biden and sexy aren’t two things that go together to me, but hey, there’s a Jack for every Jill. This is obviously a woman who thinks deeply about the issues. /sarcasm.

Who ever said politics isn’t fun!?! It DOES makes for some interesting bedfellows - so to speak.

Clinton and women

Hillary Clinton and John Edwards Want to Get Rid of the Other Guys

BeyondTheNews.com
When will these candidates learn to turn or take off their microphones? At the end of an NAACP Presidential Forum in Detroit in which fringe candidates Mike Gravel and Dennis Kucinich repeatedly upstaged the top two tiers, John Edwards approached Hillary Clinton at her podium and, perhaps forgetting that microphones were still on, can clearly be heard saying “we should think about at some point … maybe some time in the fall, we’ll try to have a more serious debate with a smaller group of people.”

Hillary agreed with Edwards, saying “We’ve got to cut the numbers of these, because they are just being trivialized.” Edwards responded “And they’re not serious. They’re not serious,” then walked away. Hillary caught up to him to add “I think there was an effort by our campaign to do that, but it somehow got detoured,” saying “We’ve gotta get back to it.” While shaking Dennis Kucinich’s hand, she added “our guys should talk.”

Hey, Gravel, Kucinich … a lot of people know what it feels like to have that particular knife in their backs. Just ask Joe Lieberman. Just ask our troops.

Well, they both have good hair anyway.

The Socialist States of America

Hillary ClintonI believe that Hillary Clinton will be the next president of the United States. There is no question that she will be the candidate of choice for the democratic party. She has no real opposition and whatever you think of the Clinton’s you have to admit they know how to get their way.

I can hear all the pshaws out there from anyone reading this. If you are reading this you might think that that there is no way the American public would elect Hillary Clinton as President of the United States. We’ve had all the Clintons and Bushs any of us want. Right?

Wrong!

The very word ‘republican’ has become synonymous with a cuss word. People are ridiculed as being close minded racists if they are Republican.

Worse, the Republican party is shattered and divided. If Rudy Giuliani gets the nomination, there are people who won’t vote for him because he has voiced the belief that government should stay out of moral decisions (ie: abortion). There are people who won’t vote for John McCain because of the position has taken on illegal immigration. There are people who won’t vote for Mitt Romney because he’s a Mormon. And the skeletons haven’t been pulled out of Fred Thompson’s closet yet.

The point is, the Republican party is not united in the way the democrat party is. Republicans represent conservatives who have a wide range of differing opinions and agendas. The democrats represent progressives. If you are a democrat you are loyal to the party regardless of who the candidate is. If you are a Republican, you vote for the person regardless of the party the person belongs to.

So there’s the problem. With a divided Republican party in 1992 Bill Clinton won the presidency with 43% of the popular vote. He won the presidency in 1996 with 49% of the popular vote, again with the Republican vote divided.

I’m a big picture kind of person. I believe the war on terror will not go away and all the other issues we get side tracked with, will not amount to a hill of beans if we continue to ignore that our military is not being allowed to fight this war. While conservatives are focusing on their differences of opinion the democrats will take the country.

Hillary Clinton Takes Poll to Determine her Campaign Theme Song

Hillary ClintonHillary Clinton wants to know what America thinks ….. about what her campaign theme song should be.

I’m sure she wants to know what America thinks about Social Security, the Global War on Terror and other such things. But really, first things first. She must have a theme song.

Being a Clinton, she’s taking a poll before deciding what she thinks. You can vote on her official website here.

I was going to vote myself, but I didn’t see any songs that looked fitting. I was thinking of something along the line of ‘Witchy Woman’.

Let me tell your brother, she’s been sleeping
In the devil’s bed.

But then, she probably hasn’t.

Help Hillary Find a Theme Song here and here. Thanks Carl!

Can Hillary Clinton Bring World Peace?

Hillary Clinton

From Truth in Cosmetic Surgery Blog

This image (borrowed from Dlisted) made me think of just how unlikely it might be that this woman would get us out of a war. This looks like the face of a woman who could start World War III.

It makes me think of a documentary I saw years ago on Ted Bundy, the serial killer. The narrator discussed an image of Bundy losing his temper before his jury. At this point the jury got a clue as to what was really in his mind. This woman gives me a chill into the center of my spine that could paralyze. I won’t be voting for her.

WOAH!! Okay, I’m scared!!!

Hillary Clinton Throws Her Hat in the Race

Hillary Presidential BustFortunately, she already has her Presidential Bust. What a stroke of luck!!

I aligned the photo of her bust to the right just because I’m easily amused.

Sadly, her chances of being elected are not looking very good at this point. I know this because LindaSog referred me to the Democratic Underground to take a gander at what the progressives are saying about her announcement today. THAT is always good for some Saturday afternoon entertainment! LOL

Here are just a few outtakes From DU.

I’ll vote Green if my party is stupid enough to nominate a war monger like her

Lets have a political aristocracy…families of Presidents
Just like the europeans. The Bush family political aristocracy, the Kennedy family political aristocracy and now,the Clinton family political aristocracy.Hey!We gotta groom Chelsea for her run in 2020!

If you want to nominate someone who is “perceived” as a liberal and has bended over backwards to vote the Republican way for fear of looking too Democratic, then Hillary is your candidate.

This one gets a prize for exemplifying the principles of paranoia, conspiracy theories and delusional thinking that is prevalent in the progressive movement …..

Good stick to your prinicples … they’ll give us another Rethug, fascist President. 4 more years and you won’t have to worry about message boards b/c they’ll all be edited for content, subversive and otherwise.

War will be the least of your problems…

It was especially funny to me that shortly after I read the above posting, they deleted some posts that did not conform to their progressive theme. Even funnier, they didn’t seem to see the humor in that!!! lolol

She’s a CARTOON!!

Her stance on issues changes with the poll #s.

She’s a pro-war, pro-censorship, corporatist!

I agree Gore or Edwards anyday, but I’d go 3rd party before Hiliary got my vote. Looks at the devisiveness she causes on DU, and couple it with many centrist R’s who despise her. She will hurt the Dem party. She is too calculating, too over-polled, and to controlled by corporate interests.

There is discussion about how disgusting it is that character is taken into account by people rather than their standing on issues. (Should character matter? Apparently not to those at DU)

There is discussion about how disgusting it is that Republicans will vote against their own party if they don’t like the person representing them. (I guess it’s all about the party for them - it’s ALL about the party! Much like the communist roots of the progressive movement).

And one whole discussion that I found very amusing was about Hillary’s ability to get the Southern female vote. One guy is over there educating the rest of them about the fact that Southern women ARE capable of THOUGHT!!! He knows, because he lived in the South one time. HEH!!!

This was the result of a discussion about whether or not Hillary could take the South and whether or not Southern women would vote for her.

Dems don’t need to win a single southern state in order to win he election. A number of bloggers have suggested just ignoring the South, rather than pandering to it.

They don’t even know when they are being prejudiced.

Enough of that - it goes on and on and on in the same vein.

We’ve all known she was going to make a run for it all along. I figured it’d get pretty entertaining when Osama threw his hat in. That really puts The Clinton Camp in a difficult position, but they are pros so I figure they’ll find a way to crucify him without getting their own hands publicly dirty. Then then article got ‘leaked’ from her camp - and, low and behold, she’s distancing herself from it.

Yep - this is going to be very entertaining!

Here’s her announcement.

Outside the Beltway

No huge surprise. Still, she has done a remarkable job these past several years getting out of her husband’s shadow, positioning herself as more moderate than previously thought, and garnering bipartisan praise for collegiality and hard work in the Senate.

Mark is shocked.

My Vast Right Wing Conspiracy is looking forward to the Hillarity.

Captain’s Quarters says Stop the Presses!

Macsmind isn’t passing out cigars.

Cadilac Tight checked out how Kos is taking the news. They aren’t quite as entertaining as DU - but still ……

Hillary Clinton’s Bust Unveiled

A Presidential Bust of Hillary Clinton will be unveiled August 9th at the Museum of Sex.

The Corner

Accentuating her sexual power and bolstered by the presidential seal, The Presidential Bust of Hillary Rodham Clinton: The First Woman President of the United States of America will be officially open for public viewing on August 9 for a limited six week run.

Fox News

Sexy Sculpture?

Speaking of Clinton, her first “Presidential Bust” is set to be unveiled this week — at New York’s Museum of Sex.

Sculptor Daniel Edwards says the work portrays Clinton’s “youthful spirit and a face matured by wisdom,” adding, “Presented in a low cut gown, her cleavage is on display prominently portraying sexual power which some people still consider too threatening.”

Edwards says he was inspired by actress Sharon Stone, who said Clinton shouldn’t run for president because she had too much sexuality.

So Hillary is getting a ‘Presidential Bust’ eventhough she has never been president and probably never will be. And it’s being unveiled in the Museum of Sex of all places. Somehow, sexy and Hillary just never went together in the same sentence for me.

Don’t you just know that the Junior Senator from New York gets on the last nerve of her fellow Senators who have paid their dues for years and don’t get half the attention she gets. They must just dispise her.
